Biomass energy is a renewable souce of energy. It is made by burning plants, garbage, and landfill gases. Biomass currently supplies 3% of the USs' renewable energy. The rate that biomass is growing in the US per year is 20%. Now we could really benifit from that! Still, biomass has alot of downsides. Biomass is SUPER expensive and it is not that popular.
